I could not find a SkookumScript equivalent of the above method, which is a blueprint method.
I am really rusty after my hiatus, lol… it will come back fast.
What is the context or type of BP that you’re working in? I’m unable to find GetControlledPawn as a BP node in a generic BP class…
The Player Controller can get it’s controlled pawn.
Go to PlayerController Blueprint, and invoke the blueprint.
From your player controller it’s just @pawn.
Would Controller@pawn work for your purposes here?
I’m still not sure why controlled_pawn wasn’t generated for PlayerController but this will be for @GreatGuru to figure out!
I believe it’s because the new non-deprecated call on the side is GetPawn(). And converts that to its normal scheme where gets turn into direct variables and sets become variable_set.
@pawn works thanks.
If I have multiple player controllers I need a way to access the pawn they possess, this works.
