It would be very nice to have Skookum IDE in such situation tell the user something like "we noticed that after recompiling that xxxxx variable name has changed. Do you want to update the variable’s name in all script files?
Something in these lines. You get the idea.
A confirmation pop-up or something like this would be good/needed, because maybe in some situations you actually meant to make the names differ.
This is currently one of the few things that are slowing down my scripting workflow in Skookum, compared to blueprints. Because one nice thing of blueprints is the way they do this. If you change names, it doesn’t loose the links.
Also, as I’m already here asking for features, a search (Ctrl + F) in file on the IDE would be very appreciated. Maybe it already have and I didn’t find it.
I know I can open a file in an external editor (I’m already doing this), but why not in the IDE itself?
